Cookie Policy

Cookies are text files that are stored on your end device (i.e. the device you use to access the Portal). They are used to identify your end device (e.g. a computer, phone or tablet) when you reconnect to the Portal. Cookies help us better understand and respond to the individual needs and preferences of Users.

The Company stores cookies on your end devices and accesses the information contained in them for the following purposes:

  • adapting the content of websites to the User’s preferences and optimising the use of the websites; in particular, cookies enable us to recognise the User’s device and display a website appropriately tailored to the User’s individual needs (e.g. by storing language preferences);
  • generating statistics that help us understand how Users use the Portal, enabling us to improve its structure and content;
  • maintaining the User’s session.

Internet browsers (User software) generally allow cookies to be stored on the end device by default. Users may change their browser settings relating to the use of cookies at any time. You may therefore refuse to allow cookies to be stored on the end device you use to access the Portal. To do so, you should use the appropriate browser settings to disable the downloading and storage of cookies. Providers of popular internet browsers offer information on how to disable the downloading and storage of cookies. Please note, however, that disabling cookies may negatively affect access to certain functionalities of the Portal.

If you do not change your cookie settings and continue to use the Portal, this will constitute acceptance of the cookies used by the Portal. Users may delete cookies from their devices at any time.

Cookies may also be stored on the User’s device by providers of individual Portal functionalities, as indicated below.

The Company uses Google Analytics, a tool designed to analyse visits to the Portal. Google Analytics enables us to monitor traffic on the Portal and adapt it to Users’ needs. Detailed information on the processing of data collected through Google Analytics is available in the [Google Analytics Help Center].

Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Users may opt out of Google Analytics by installing a free browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics. Once the add-on has been installed and activated, Google Analytics measurements will be disabled on all websites viewed by the User. The add-on is available through the [Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on].

Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. You may opt out of personalised advertising displayed on your device by using [Google Ads Settings].

The Company also uses Hotjar, a tool for analysing User behaviour, including through heatmaps that show how Users interact with the Portal.https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy/

The heatmap indicates which areas of the Portal attract the most attention, enabling us to optimise the elements that generate the greatest engagement. Hotjar also allows the anonymisation of Users’ personal data, for example by masking IP addresses, and provides the option to disable tracking for Users who have not consented to such tracking.

The Controller may use artificial intelligence tools to improve internal processes and to prepare analyses, reports and statistical summaries. These tools are used solely as supporting tools. As a result, the Controller does not use them to make decisions concerning data subjects that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect them within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR (profiling).

The Controller has implemented appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure the security of data processed using AI tools.
